Harvest Moon has built a reputation as the place to call for gourmet Chinese catering. We serve a discerning clientele that includes major Tucson hospitals and businesses all over the Metro Tucson area.
The complex flavors of our special Cantonese, Mandarin or Szechuan dishes, created with our private-recipe sauces, are delivered hot to hundreds of loyal customers, who reward us with rave reviews.
Delicate appetizers such as crab puffs, pot stickers, spicy calamari or shrimp and egg rolls are perennial catering favorites, as are the 3-entré meals, in a choice of seafood, beef, chicken, pork or vegetarian. Catering can include chafing dishes and servers upon request.
Owner and Chef, Wanda, would open the first Chinese restaurant in Tucson with a Demonstration Kitchen. “I like our customers to be able to see how I prepare the dishes,” says Wanda, “and I enjoy greeting our customers from the open kitchen.”
At Harvest Moon, watching is half the fun, partly due to the unique equipment we use to prepare our dishes. Wok cooking is done over powerful flames on a water-cooled, Chinese Wok Range, and barbecue dishes are prepared on a Salamander Grill, that can grill, brown or broil. Multiple stock pots delicately steam on their special range and giant rice cookers stand nearby.
